ZENDA AFRICA TERMS OF SERVICE
Last Updated: January 2026
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By downloading the Zenda Africa app or accessing our web platform, you agree to be bound by this Terms of Service (ToS). If you are using the service on behalf of a business, that business also accepts these terms.
2. LICENSE TO USE OUR SERVICES
2.1 Limited License: Zenda Africa grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to use our software solely to access our financial services. 2.2 Restrictions: You shall not:
-
Copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Zenda app or backend code.
-
Use any automated system (bots, spiders, or scrapers) to extract data from the platform.
-
Attempt to disrupt the servers or networks connected to our services.
3. USER ACCOUNTS & BIOMETRIC DATA
3.1 Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any PINs. Zenda Africa supports biometric authentication (Fingerprint, FaceID). You acknowledge that enabling these features means any person with a registered biometric on your device may be able to authorize transactions. 3.2 Account Integrity: You must provide truthful information. If we discover "spoofed" identities or fake documentation, your account will be permanently banned and reported to the relevant financial authorities.
4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content on the Zenda Africa platform—including the logo, UI/UX design, text, graphics, and proprietary algorithms—is the exclusive property of Zenda Africa Technology Ltd. You may not use our branding for any purpose without express written consent.
5. APP UPDATES & AVAILABILITY
5.1 Maintenance: We may occasionally suspend the service for planned maintenance. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. 5.2 Forced Updates: To maintain security and compliance, Zenda may require "forced updates." Failure to update your app may result in loss of access to the services.
6. PEER-TO-PEER (P2P) & SOCIAL FEATURES
6.1 Accuracy of Details: When sending money via email or P2P, you are solely responsible for verifying the recipient's details. Zenda cannot recover funds sent to the wrong person due to user error. 6.2 User Conduct: You agree not to use the "Transaction Memo" or "Reference" fields to send offensive, defamatory, or illegal messages.
7. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & SERVICES
The Zenda app may integrate with third-party providers (e.g., utility companies for bill payments, card issuers for USD cards). Zenda is not responsible for the performance or failures of these external providers, though we will assist in resolving disputes where possible.
8. NO INVESTMENT ADVICE
Zenda Africa is a payment and remittance platform. Nothing on our platform—including blog posts or notifications—constitutes financial, investment, or tax advice.
9. MODIFICATIONS TO THE SERVICE
Zenda Africa reserves the right to modify or discontinue any feature (such as specific utility billers or card types) at any time. We will provide 30 days' notice for any changes that significantly impact your stored funds.
10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." ZENDA AFRICA DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
